    “What does the student do to cause learning to happen?” The student needs to engage in the behaviors to induce learning. Steve makes reference to practicing skills in athletics. As a former athlete, I am really excited to see how this might apply to the classroom. The critical student production behaviors need the practice and opportunities that will guide them forward in achieving the desired outcomes.
